The Ship, Great Yarmouth, 24.10.2003. I recently came across this picture which I had forgotten to use at the time but thought it worthy of inclusion even now. It was a bit of a sad night because it was, to my knowledge, the last gig played at the Ship, unless anything has changed recently. It was also a disappointingly quiet night as you can see from this photo. I only took two other photos but, due to the extremely poor quality of the said images, I haven't used them here. I know some of you might be thinking that doesn't usually stop me but, believe me, these were completely unusable. The man aspiring to a 69 and attempting to hide behind his beer glass is none other than Damon Corless, bass player with GY- based band, Half Cream. Damon seems to have been really enjoying himself however, he doesn't seem to realise that he has failed to move his hand away from his crotch quickly enough and has almost been caught red-handed. I know we're good mate but I didn't think we were that good. This was also quite a poignant night for Damon because, if memory serves me correctly, he played his first ever gig at the Ship. |
