Formed in 1996, Blister have been performing indie-rock covers plus some original material ever since. Simon Bell, Lee Hamilton and Mark Melton are the three remaining original members of the band. Three drummers came and went in the first three years before Dave Langston joined the band and became by far our longest serving drummer to date. Dave provided the power and drive for the band until July 2004 when he left Blister to concentrate fully on his other band, Red Leaf. Dave had very kindly agreed to stay on until a replacement drummer was found and so Nigel Tungate, formerly with White Noise amongst others, joined Blister in July 2004. We will be continuing in a similar vein although new material is already being introduced. Then, of course, there is the tenth anniversary party to think about!!
